Traceability and Digital Product Passport-ready components

In the coffee, vending and food equipment supply chain, cleanliness, material control and traceability are not extras: they are part of supplier qualification. WeMech supplies precision components for food-contact applications with dedicated documentation and a controlled, traceable workflow.

A compliant workflow

Each production batch can be managed through a controlled process designed to preserve the cleanliness of components after machining and before delivery:

Documentation, batch traceability and MOCA

The process is supported by structured documentation and batch traceability. Each container or batch is identified through a label and QR code, giving access to product and process information: part number, production lot, operator, inspection status and related documentation.

Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1), inspection records and compliance documents (REACH/RoHS declarations) can be associated with the product batch, simplifying quality control and supplier qualification activities. Where required, components intended for contact with food are supplied with MOCA declaration of conformity, in line with food contact materials regulations, together with the related documentation package.

Digital Product Passport

This approach is aligned with the concept of a Digital Product Passport and product traceability framework aligned with Regulation (EU) 2024/1781: technical information, certificates and compliance documents accessible in a transparent and efficient way, directly from the batch QR code or from a permanent link — usable on sales documents as well.
