Selected projects and development examples

The following examples represent the type of industrial value WeMech is built to create: technical clarity, innovation structure, prototype intelligence and production-oriented thinking.

Coffee machine developments

Prototype cover set for a professional coffee machine — delivered in three weeks

A complete set of prototype covers, CNC-machined from solid engineering plastics with custom coloured finishes and matte/glossy black details, allowed the customer to validate geometry, fit and design language without investing in injection moulding tools. The full prototype set was delivered within three weeks from order confirmation.

Prototype cover CNC-machined from solid engineering plastic for a professional coffee machine

Prototype cover CNC-machined from solid engineering plastic. Proof: complete set delivered in three weeks, before any tooling investment.

Coffee bean hopper — hybrid manufacturing

A custom bean hopper combining a vacuum-formed transparent container (with CNC finishing) and CNC-milled sliding interfaces: lightweight, functional and cost-effective, with each functional area produced by the most suitable technology.

Custom coffee bean hopper mounted on the machine, vacuum forming and CNC milling

Custom coffee bean hopper on the machine. Proof: hybrid vacuum forming + CNC process selected per functional area.

Advanced technical systems

Training simulator console for onboard vision systems

A custom aluminium console for a training simulator dedicated to onboard vision systems used in helicopter and aircraft applications. Before machining, WeMech carried out a dimensional study and produced a full-scale mock-up to verify proportions, assembly logic and operator interaction. The structure was built from 5 mm cast aluminium plate — selected for flatness, machinability and dimensional stability — with CNC-machined panels, dedicated openings and progressive assembly checks, validating the console from concept to assembled prototype.

Aluminium training simulator console with integrated screen for onboard vision systems

Simulator console with integrated screen during fitting tests. Proof: full-scale mock-up first, then CNC-machined 5 mm cast aluminium plate and progressive assembly validation.

Hand control housing for camera systems

A precision hand control housing CNC-machined from solid aluminium, integrating electronic controls, connectors and operator interface in a compact, ergonomic assembly — balancing mechanical robustness, low weight and usability for demanding camera control applications, including aerospace, defence and training systems.

Assembled aluminium hand control housing for camera systems, CNC-machined

Assembled hand control housing in CNC-machined aluminium. Proof: machined openings for buttons, selectors and connections with assembly validation for advanced electronic hardware.

Protected concepts and prototype-driven work

Some projects are driven by patent-backed logic or by confidential innovation paths. One recent program started from a specific application need and evolved into a structured IP and R&D path, discussed only under NDA — a patent-backed innovation platform that can support co-development, technical partnerships, licensing discussions or investment-supported maturation.

Not all valuable projects begin with a finished product brief: in many cases progress starts from a prototype, a test setup or a structured feasibility step. And because many of these projects involve confidential information, the examples above are described at a high level rather than as full case studies.
