Patents, protected concepts and industrial opportunities

WeMech develops innovation paths that may generate intellectual property, confidential know-how and structured collaboration opportunities.

Our approach to intellectual property

For us, a patent is not an isolated legal asset. It is part of a broader industrial strategy that can support development, partnership building, licensing discussions and market differentiation.

We can discuss published or granted intellectual property, selected confidential innovation programs available under NDA, and application-driven development programs looking for industrial partners.

Possible collaboration formats include co-development, technical validation, sector-specific partnership, territorial licensing discussion and investment-supported technology maturation.

Case history: from patent to industrial development

One of our recent innovation programs began with a specific technical need: to transform an original concept into a structured, protectable and potentially industrializable solution. The starting point was not a finished machine, but a technical intuition with strong application potential — to be made clear enough to protect, realistic enough to develop and flexible enough to support future industrial partnerships.

We structured the concept around three priorities: protecting the core idea through an appropriate IP strategy; development-oriented thinking, treating the patent as a framework for further R&D, prototyping and validation rather than an endpoint; and controlled disclosure, communicating publicly only the strategic value and sharing technical detail under NDA.

The result is a patent-backed development platform: while the technical details remain confidential, the strategic outcome is a protected foundation for future R&D, partnership building and industrial exploitation.

Innovation highlights

Rapid portafilter spout cleaning system

An integrated OEM concept that enables a complete cleaning cycle for espresso machine portafilter spouts in seconds, without removing the group or using bulky external tools — a distinctive feature that can enhance product value and reduce user-dependent variability. Protected by a patent application; technical details, prototypes and feasibility discussions available under NDA.

BladeScanner

Our flagship innovation topic is gaining external visibility, including recent international coverage on BladeScanner and the evolution of data-supported inspection workflows for composite structures.

Let’s talk

Some projects can be discussed openly; others require an NDA before technical details are shared. We are comfortable operating in both scenarios, and we welcome discussions with OEMs, industrial groups, investors and technology partners interested in protected industrial innovation.
